My vape isn't working. What should I do?Updated 6 months ago
If your vape is hard to hit or you're noticing less vapor than usual, don’t worry—this is often easy to fix. Here are a few quick tips:
1. Check the oil level.
Look through the glass window to see if there’s any distillate left. If the tank is empty, congrats—you’ve officially enjoyed it to the fullest! Time for a fresh one.
2. Look for a blinking light.
If the bottom of the vape flashes when you inhale, the battery’s running low. Give it a quick charge to get things flowing again.
3. Take a long, strong pull.
High-quality distillate can occasionally cause minor clogs. A deep, slow drag usually clears things right up.
4. Try the paperclip trick.
Gently insert a straightened paperclip into the center of the mouthpiece (about an inch deep). Swirl it around carefully—this can pop bubbles, clear hardened resin, and get everything moving again. Wipe the mouthpiece clean afterward.
5. Let it settle.
If your vape’s been on its side or stored somewhere cold, the oil may not flow properly. Stand it upright at room temp for at least an hour.
